Why this exists
The due-date page names a birth date. This page counts one luteal phase back from the next period and names ovulation.
From 2026-06-01 on a 28-day cycle, today 2026-06-10 ovulates on 2026-06-15. The fertile window opens five days earlier, on 2026-06-10. This is not birth control and not a promise of pregnancy.

03Worth knowing
The fertile window runs from five days before ovulation through ovulation day. Sperm can last several days and the egg about a day. A luteal phase is often 12–16 days, and a longer cycle adds days before ovulation, not after it.
A cycle that swings widely, the months after birth, feeding a baby, or polycystic ovary syndrome makes a calendar too thin. This is not a diagnosis. Nothing is sent to a server.
