Why this exists
A passage pasted from a chat often carries repeated spaces and blank lines.
When a count without spaces is needed, remove every space and keep the lines.

Remove every space keeps line breaks. Include line breaks joins the lines as well.
Drop blank lines runs after the chosen cleanup.
The removed count is the difference in JavaScript string length.
