Barcode maker
The bars appear as you type. A value that does not fit the format cannot be saved. The picture is made here.
Why this exists
An internal stock label does not need a registry. CODE128 is the wide choice. A shop EAN has to be a number issued for that product, or the scanner finds no item.
The value becomes bars only inside this browser.

01How to use it
Type the value and pick a format. An empty box shows a sample and keeps save locked.
A fitting value saves as PNG. The file name is barcode-format.png.

02What you get
EAN-13 turns 400638133393 into 4006381333931. The last 1 is the check digit.
UPC-A turns 03600029145 into 036000291452. CODE39 raises lowercase.

03Worth knowing
Bars printed too small, or without a quiet margin, fail in a scanner. Black bars on white read more reliably than bars on a colored ground.
ITF needs an even count of digits. It is used on case labels.
Questions
- QWhich format fits?
- ACODE128 for an internal label, CODE39 for old hardware, EAN-13 for a domestic product, UPC-A for a North American product, and ITF for an even-length logistics code.
- QCan Hangul go in?
- ANo. All five stay inside letters, digits, and a few symbols.
- QCan I sell with this?
- AInternal stock and assets can use it at once. A shop sale needs a registered product number.
- QWhat is the check digit?
- AEAN-13 adds it to 12 digits and UPC-A adds it to 11. A wrong final digit will not save.
